Christ Will Do His Part, You Do Yours

Philippians 4:9 (NASB)

⁹  The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

 1.       Christ Will Bring About The Completed Work Of His Grace

 Philippians 1:6-7 (NASB)

⁶  For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

⁷  For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me.

 2.       Practice & Exercise Your Faith And It Will Grow Stronger

¹⁴  I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

3.       The Eternal Prize Is Worth It: Focus, Fight Daily, & Persevere

 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 (NASB)

²⁴  Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

²⁵  Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.

²⁶  Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air;

²⁷  but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.
