I recently read an article discussing the origin of the song “Heart Of Worship.” I have always loved this song and we do this on occasion at our church, but I wonder how may people actually listen to the words of this song.
So many times in the modern day church people get caught up in a song or a song style. Let us not forget the reality of it all. It’s not about the song but about Jesus Christ. God does not desire a song from his children, but requires our praise and love.
Let us not get caught up in the song choices for our church but the praise to Almighty God, because it is truly not the song that brings a smile to His face but the praise of His children
