I have been asked over the years to define a music ministry. Just like most things in life it has a variety of different meanings, but here is my thoughts on it.
Music Ministry is not the job of one person, but the job of all who are involved. Many people look at the Minister of Music and expect that person to make the choir sing beautifully and the instrumentalists play awesome, but without commitment on both the director and the participants little can happen. We are all in this together, and the product of the ministry is the evidence of commitment on both the director and performers.
I am so proud of our church. We have begun our new choir. It is exciting to me to see the dedication of my choir members. Thank you for your commitment to the choir and ministry. I know this will be a huge blessing to our church.
