"Here I Am To Worship – Part 2:  Knees Down!”

2 Chronicles 6:13

13 Solomon had made a bronze platform five cubits[a] long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high, and had set it in the court, and he stood on it. Then he knelt on his knees in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven

Psalm 95:6

Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
    let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!

  1. Remember God’s Faithfulness In The Past.

Psalm 42:3-5:

My tears have been my food
    day and night,
while they say to me all the day long,
    “Where is your God?”
These things I remember,
    as I pour out my soul:
how I would go with the throng
    and lead them in procession to the house of God
with glad shouts and songs of praise,
    a multitude keeping festival.

Why are you cast down, O my soul,
    and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
    my salvation

Lamentations 3:19-23

19 Remember my affliction and my wanderings,
    the wormwood and the gall!
20 My soul continually remembers it
    and is bowed down within me.
21 But this I call to mind,
    and therefore I have hope:

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;[a]
             his mercies never come to an end;
23 they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.

  1. Trust In God’s Power For Your Future.

Psalm 102:1-2, 5, 7-8, 12, 17

1Hear my prayer, O Lord;
  let my cry come to you!
Do not hide your face from me
    in the day of my distress!

    Incline your ear to me;
    answer me speedily in the day when I call!

Because of my loud groaning
    my bones cling to my flesh.

I lie awake;
    I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop.
All the day my enemies taunt me;
    those who deride me use my name for a curse.

12 But you, O Lord, are enthroned forever;
    you are remembered throughout all generations.

17 he regards the prayer of the destitute
    and does not despise their prayer.

TAKE AWAY OF THE DAY:

HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN FAITHFUL IN THE PAST, SO YOU CAN COUNT ON HIM WITH YOUR FUTURE.
